I found two Watch Dogs car stealth questions:

They are essentially the exact same question. However, neither answer seems to be objectively better than the other (at least for me).

Which question should be the dupe?

In my opinion, the 2014 question should be made the target question, and the 2015 question should be made the dupe. The 2014 question has 7k views compared to the 2015 question's 436 views, so most people will see the 2014 question compared to the 2015 one. 2014 question also has a higher score (10 vs. 3), and it's a year older. By several criteria, it should be made the target question and the 2015 one a dupe.

Generally the newer one would be marked as the duplicate

  • That's not a rule, age doesn't mean quality

  • It's still true, though: all tings being equal, the older one takes precedence. But answer existence, answer quality, visits, and question quality certainly play an important role. (See this Meta answer for more information.) But it doesn't answer this question, which is about a specific question (ugly sentence..).
